Habitationz CIC

Habitationz CIC is a UK-based Community Interest Company providing safe, supported housing in partnership with regulated care providers. When they approached me, they had no online presence at all, no website, no digital contact point, nothing for prospective partners or residents to find them.

For an organisation in the supported housing sector, this was a significant gap. Regulated care providers, local authorities, and referral agencies all expect to verify a housing partner online before entering any arrangement. Without a website, Habitationz CIC was invisible to the very organisations they needed to work with.

The brief was clear build a professional, trustworthy website that communicates their mission, explains how they work, and makes it easy for partners and enquirers to get in touch. The site also needed an admin panel so the Habitationz team could manage their own content without developer involvement.

Built in native PHP 8.x with Bootstrap 5.3, the platform covers five core public pages Home, About, Services, Working Together, and Contact each with editable copy blocks managed through the admin panel. A dual-role admin system (Admin and Editor) allows the team to update service pillars, FAQ content, and page copy independently, while keeping sensitive user management and activity logs restricted to admins only.

Contact form enquiries are captured in the database and delivered via PHPMailer SMTP, giving the team a reliable paper trail for every inbound message. CSRF protection, token-based password resets, and a full admin activity log ensure the platform meets the security expectations of a regulated sector.
